The Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300) allows you to come to Australia to marry your prospective spouse (who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen) and then apply onshore for a Partner visa. It is a temporary, offshore-applied visa designed to facilitate marriage and subsequent transition to the Partner visa pathway.
